From North

From Highway 99 South take the Taylor Way Exit 99A. Proceed across Lions Gate Bridge through Stanley Park onto Georgia Street. Turn right on Burrard Street and left into the hotel.

From South

Take Highway 99 North to Oak Street and go left on 49th Street. Turn right on Granville into downtown and left on Helmcken Street. Continue for 2 blocks to the hotel.

From East

Take TransCanada Highway 1 East and take the Hastings Westbound Exit into downtown. Turn left on Burrard Street, go 6 blocks and turn left into the hotel.

Notes from Conference Organizer
July in Vancouver is at the height of the tourist season. Hotel rooms are often overly booked and full. WCCI 2006 has negotiated with the Sheraton Vancouver WallCentre for the special rate of $209.00 CAD that begins on July 10, through July 16-21, to July 26. This allows our attendees to arrive earlier or to depart later to spare time to visit the city and its neighboring attraction. Due to its competition, we can only reserve a limited rooms for our attendees on a first-come-first-take basis. As soon as your travel plan is finalized, we encourage you to make the hotel reservation earlier to avoid the last-minute surprise.

Information to Book a Room at the Overflow Hotel

Please note Conference Hotel, Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, has sold out of all the rooms during the conference period. If you haven't made the hotel reservation, please contact the designated overflow hotel, Century Plaza Hotel & Spa, right across the street from the Sheraton. Century Plaza Hotel is a 3-star hotel, chosen for 2006 NHL Draft. We have negotiated a contracted rate of $179.00 CAD for single/double occupancy and each additional person to a maximum of four is $30.00 CAD plus taxes per night.
