A Spouse Reception is planned to provide a venue for families of our attendees to get acquainted. Representatives from Tourism Vancouver and Grayline will be on site to present local information and tour opportunities. This event will take place in a breathtaking setting of Azure room.

WCI Reception
A WCI reception is planned to allow women attendees to network with invited guests whose exceptional accomplishments in their careers of computational intelligence have been role models for the youngsters. The committed speakers will present 3-5 minutes talks about their career and experience and be available for questions and social gathering. The reception will be open to all women attendees regardless of society membership.

Plenary Poster Sessions
The plenary poster session will be held on Monday and Tuesday night to provide an interactive presentation of poster papers. Guideline as how to better prepare your poster is given in the Poster Presentations webpage. Refreshment and drink will be served during the poster sessions.

Student Reception
A student reception is organized to allow students to network with IEEE CIS, INNS, IEE and EPS volunteers and other distinguished guests. Invited speakers will present 3-5 minutes talks about their career and experience and be available for questions and social gathering. The reception will be open to all students regardless of society membership. Bar One features a chic retreat that invites guests to unwind in style. The casual Indigo Bar presents a tempting array of favorite malts and local brews, while Indigo Bistro serves a fresh seasonal menu in a playful, upbeat setting. Each table at the sleek Café One features a singular vase designed by renowned Canadian artist Martha Sturdy. Her elliptical chandeliers hang overhead, lighting the stage for a memorable meal.

Awards Banquet
The WCCI 2006 Banquet will be held at the Grand Ballroom beginning at 7:00pm. An admission ticket for each guest is needed to enter the banquet. If you have special dietary needs, please inform our staff at the Registration Desk. The Awards Ceremony will be held immediately after the dinner, starting at 8:00pm. We will celebrate the first ever IEEE Frank Rosenblatt TFA award ceremony.

Closing Reception
